Production Facility of Fiber Optics
This project houses highly-skilled engineers and scientists who design and manufacture some of the finest fiber optics on the planet. This product of scientific curiosity and labour of love is used at the forefront of modern medicine.
The design of the highly technical and ordered spaces reflects the complex processes it houses. It also brings elements of colour and guiding light to both organise the spaces and to reflect the bright thinking that goes on inside these spaces.
The design adapts most of an existing core structure, achieving a sustainable approach while creating a new image and use for the building.
The project has brought value to the people working in the building, as well as their visitors who are given a look inside the otherwise sealed spaces.
